Rotary Desiccant Dehumidifier can be installed in the air duct system or as an independent component with a corresponding external housing, insulation and protective cover. Water droplets from the condensing coil or humidifier should be avoided directly to go into the desiccant wheels and driving motor. The part that holds the rotary wheel shall have sufficient structural strength to prevent damage to the desiccant dehumidifier during transportation or daily operation.

For Rotary Desiccant Dehumidifier in general, the processing air volume should be set at two third of the regenerated air volume, and the two air flows in reverse direction in the effect of air blower.

When the processing air passes through the adsorption zone of desiccant rotor, the air moisture is absorbed by silica gel molecules and air becomes dry. At the same time, the regenerated hot air after heating to remove water from the silica gel molecules desorbed and send out of the rotary desiccant dehumidifier. The dehumidification wheel rotates at a preset speed to repeat air dehumidification process. Seal strip installed around the rotary runner and between the two treatment air zones ensures complete separation of treated dry air from regenerated wet air.
