Absorption dehumidifier is better when high standard to extremely air desiccant requirements.

The central unit in Absorption dehumidifier is the honeycombed window desiccant wheel, with absorption medium of silica gel or molecular sieve or compound materials. With the hot air regeneration, absorption dehumidifier can make the air desiccant with dew point with -40 degrees Celsius or lower. But the cooling type dehumidifier, the mostly, they only can make the dew point with 7 degrees Celsius or higher.

The absorption wheel is continuously slowly rotary with 8-12 RPH to do absorption to air moisture, simultaneously, the hot air in the opposite direction to do regeneration when the moisture being adsorbed saturation. Since the rotate speed is very slowly, so the rotating power requiring very small with around 50W-200W. but the hot air generally should be around 140-180 degrees Celsius.

The absorption dehumidifier outlet air parameter conditions depends on the parameters of the inlet air and the control of regenerative energy.

When the wet air that needs to be dehumidified goes into the adsorption zone, it is absorbed by the honeycomb glass fiber with adsorption medium to obtain dry air. The regeneration air on the other side is heated and becomes 140-180 hot air to do desorption the saturated moisture and then continues to dry the air. In another word, it's a desiccant filter to the wet air, it's a kind of desiccant breather.

However, the absorption dehumidifier can only thermal desorption to the moisture, they can not desorb dust, so please set filter for the dust ahead of the desiccant wheel to prevent blockage.
