Thermolysis mean incineration,generally there are four types for air pollution and remedies of thermal oxidizer TO, Regenerative thermal oxidizer RTO, catalytic oxidizer CO and regenerative catalytic oxidizer RCO. These solutions are different combinations and thermal transfer of combustion mode in VOCs air pollution and solution processing. They are mainly used to treat with adsorbed concentrated pollution air, and also they be used to directly treat with medium-high concentration pollution air of concentration > 3.5g/m3

Air pollution and solution of TO is sending the high concentration VOCs air into the oxidizer chamber for direct combustion.The organic compounds in the air is combusted into CO₂ and H₂O in above 750℃, and the thermal transfer efficiency is generally less than 60%, so running cost is a little high.

The solution of RTO is same as that of TO, but the heat exchanger is changed with regenerative ceramic material, and the high temperature of combustion gas and new coming exhaust gas alternately enter the regenerative ceramic to directly heat transfer,the thermal utilization rate can be increased to more than 90%.So RTO is one of advanced VOCs air pollution and solution with low running cost but efficiency.RTO is recommendations and proposed solution to prevent and stop air pollution processing.

CO is another one of primary and recommendation solution to VOCs air pollution. It take advantage of precious metal catalyst to reduce the reaction activation energy of organic compounds and O₂ in the waste air, so that organic matters can be fully oxidized to CO₂ and H₂O at a low temperature of 250 ~ 350℃.It is a flameless combustion,heat utilization rate is generally less than 75%, It is the air pollution and remedies suitable for high concentration VOCs air from adsorbent regeneration and desorption.

RCO combustion mode is the same as that of CO, which has high investment cost and fewer types of organic compounds can be treated, so few enterprises adopt RCO process.

This is the raw material which is used for VOCs pollution air concentration, honeycomb zeolite fiber. They are best in collecting and scrubber to concentration to VOCs air.
