Air Moisture Separator

Air moisture separator from our factory, they are the nest desiccant rotors with rotary running to separate moisture, it is one of honeycomb crawl space moisture control used in commercial dehumidifier.

Rotary air moisture separator can be understand with desiccant air breather of rotary dehumidifier. When wet air go through the separator, the moisture can be adsorption and filtered to get the dry air. Silica PPS or molecular sieve PPM are the popular moisture absorbing medium. We don't use chloride because it will corrosion to other air handling equipment in the dehumidify system.

Honeycomb rotary air moisture separator is renewable with the hot air of around 110℃under blower working. So the separator usually there are regenerative and cooling fan section. In general, because of the high temperature to desorb, the regeneration section of the separator surface for about 1/4 of the total area, that is, the sector angle of the regeneration section is 90°. If the temperature and air flow rate of the regenerated air are changed, the fan angle of the regenerated area of the air moisture separator needs to be changed in order to effectively regenerative.

Rotary honeycomb air moisture separator working modes,generally, there are three types. When the high requirement to the desiccant air, we can add the cooling zone in the dehumidification system. Wet air in the regeneration area passes through the air moisture separator in the opposite direction to the dehumidification area after being filtered and heated at high temperature. When the saturated sector is heated by high temperature air, the adsorption capacity is greatly reduced, and the vapor is released by rapid evaporation and discharged by the regenerative blower.

As the temperature of the separator body increases during the regeneration process, it needs to be cooled in order to maintain the efficient dehumidification ability. At this point, the regeneration zone will slowly rotate to the cooling zone to start the cooling process. The cooling area uses part of the filtered, cooled and dehumidified dry gas to cool the regenerative area treated with recycled air and discharge the air with residual moisture, so as to recover strong absorption capacity. In this process, the discharged air from the cooling area will enter the circulation again.so it is one of heat and humidity controller air moisture separator unit.
