Recuperative Thermal Oxidizer RTO, in China, we also call it with regenerative thermal oxidizer, it is the VOC air purify processing. It's one of high efficiency and energy saving VOCS treatment mode and enjoy great popularity in Chinese environmental issues.

Recuperative Thermal Oxidizer process

the volatile organic compounds VOCs is heated to around 800℃, so that it is oxidized and dissociated into harmless CO₂ and H₂O. The thermal of the high-temperature air during oxidation is stored by the honeycomb recuperative wheel for preheating the new VOCS, so as to save the fuel cost for heating and reduce the operating cost.

We are from the manufacturer of honeycomb recuperative wheel in Foshan China. Our recuperative wheels are specifically for large air volume VOCs collection and concentrated. They are regenerative and slowly rotary with around 1-6 Revolutions per hour. Honeycomb recuperative wheel is the important equipment in Recuperative Thermal Oxidizer processing.

Different with VOC Thermal Oxidizer, recuperative wheel can help to concentrate the large air volume and thermal recuperative by adsorption to VOCs, reduce subsequent Thermal Oxidizer processing costs. Our molecular zeolite cellular wheel can concentrate the exhaust gas 20-30 times, sometimes, it's even 50 times.

Following factors will affect molecular sieve adsorption and recuperation performance in Recuperative Thermal Oxidizer system

1. Different types of molecular sieve have different adsorption effects on VOCs air

2. The higher the content of molecular sieve, the better the recuperative effect, but its saturated adsorption capacity is only about 7%-8%

3. The size of the honeycomb hole, the smaller the aperture, the larger the contact surface area to vocs, the better the recuperation effect, but the aperture is too small, the wind resistance will increase, it's easy to be blocked.
