Regenerative Desiccant

When ordinary dehumidify can not meet the requirement to get the super air desiccant, Regenerative Desiccant rotors are right to meet that. In China they are called honeycomb with dehumidifying wheels.

Regenerative desiccant unit the rotors working need high temperature of hot air to do regeneration, so it is one of heated regenerative desiccant air dryer used in full fresh air dehumidification system or full return air dehumidification system, or the combination of fresh air and return air dehumidification system.

Different with cooling dehumidification and compression dehumidification, Regenerative Desiccant is adsorption and desorption continuously dehumidification. The central unit is the honeycomb nest ceramic and glass fiber rotor compound with moisture absorption medium of silica gel or molecular sieve. We don't offer the chloride absorption medium, because it's easily to corrosion equipment and short the equipment service time.

Regenerative desiccant rotors or wheels are most suitable for dehumidifying in chemical plant, pharmaceutical, asepsis room, food processing, battery and other fields which require the air with super desiccant in certain room.

Regenerative desiccant rotors dehumidification is one of modern developed and advanced dehumidifying technology. When it is working, desiccant wheel turning slowly, the wet air is inhaled in the 3/4 of the wheel area by the hygroscopic material absorption in honeycomb nest, then the air become desiccant and being sent to the room or space to be dehumidified.

At the same time, another side of the regenerative air which already is heated by the air heater, and then passing through the 1/4 area of the wheel, in order to remove the moisture absorbed by desiccant wheel from the treated air. Because the runner has been slowly rotating, moisture absorption and regeneration can be carried out continuously to achieve a stable dehumidification process. This is regenerative desiccant wheels rough working principle.
