The working principle of a desiccant rotor involves a continuous cycle of moisture adsorption and desorption through rotation.

When the moisture adsorption in the rotor's honeycomb channels reaches saturation,high-temperature hot air is required for desorption.

Desiccant rotors are the most important units in industry dehumidifiers and commercial desiccant air system. 

Our desiccant rotors offer performance comparable to Proflute Silica Gel Rotors and serve as direct replacements at the end of their service life.

The Molecular Sieve Desiccant Rotors used in the commercial dehumidifying system, they suitable for low temperature regeneration when regenerative zone and adsorption zone with 1:1. most cases the regenerative zone to adsorption zone is 1:3, the regeneration temperature is 120-160 degrees Celsius. When cooling zone being added into the regenerative zone, that can be get the extremely air drying effectiveness. In this condition, the regenerative temperature is generally higher than 140 degrees Celsius.

Construction and Details

Our desiccant rotors are made with honeycomb glass fiber, high efficiency active silica gel or molecular sieve as the medium, equipped with skeleton, driving bearing, outer rim plate and so on. To suitable different working conditions, sometimes, the rim will be equipped with flanges to protect the rotors.

The sealing strip is one of materials with high temperature resistance and friction resistance. the sealing strips applied in the rotors periphery, that is one of compound flat belt of silicone rubber and Teflon, applied in the desiccant zone and regenerative zone, that is one of Hollow P-type sealing strip,resistant to high temperatures of 300 degrees Celsius
